What is the actual difference between a "High School Regulation Field" and a "College Regulation Field"?
And does the VHSL already not get the gate for all playoff games?
Personally, I think, that when you make it to playoffs, you should get to enjoy certain perks like playing in a larger venue than you did in you regular season games. That is part of the tournament atmosphere. It should not seem like a regular season game.
And even though I am a girl, I am very sports minded. So don't take these questions as, oh, she doesn't know because she is a girl. I might be a girl, but I do know a thing or two about sports in the area. I am asking the questions because I want to learn more about the subject.
The hash marks are more centered on a collegiate football field and also the goal posts are narrower.

VHSL-helper's 2009 playoffs using the 2010 proposal - page 2
Salem is perfect for the State Title game because they actually have the means to host a high school football game. It is an excellent field because it can host both high school and college games, it has plenty of parking, and plenty of seating. But I would not mind seeing all 6 divisions playing at the same venue like how TN does. I also would not mind them to rotate from Virginia Tech to Virginia every two years. State Championship is the last game of the year and would be fair enough to play it on a College Field. I would love to have the chance to go to VT and take in all 6 State Championships in two days. I would go every year reguardless of who was playing. TN can put 6 state games at one site so why cant we? About your being a girl comment I know there are plenty of girls out there that know more about football than most of the fans we have in the stands around here. So your being a girl does not change a thing to me and the thought did not come to mind. Just ask away because there are plenty on here that have answers.:2thumbsup:
